Unetaneh Tokef is one of the most important Jewish prayers,, and has been part of the Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) and Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) liturgy for centuries. The text is attributed to rabbi Amnon of Mainz from 11th century.
