Eli Tamar was born in St. Petersburg, Russia, raised and educated in Israel, and currently lives in the U.S. Among his works are Canticum Fratris Solis, Prière de St. François d'Assise, Ave Maria, ונתנה תוקף (Unetaneh tokef), and Отче Наш (The Lord’s Prayer). Eli has recently wrote a Requiem for voice solo with choir, dedicated to the memory of the victims of coronavirus. He is currently serving on the jury panel of the First International Competition of Christian Music Composers that is taking place January-May in Moscow, Russia. For full bio follow here |
